Jaz Makadi Star & Spa

It was my second visit to jaz makadi,first time at jaz makadi star and spa, it is great for family and couples, we enjoyed out stay with my wife and son - check in was quick and easy -rooms are very clean all the time and well designed space for every detail -the best was food taste and a-lot of options was available -wheelchair / electric scooter ramps -highly safety measures hand sanitizers …etc - animation team differ each day interesting and enjoyable for all ages specially Mado and Lil At the end the most seen was how much the staff are friendly starting with mr tamer the room service and his morning smile ,mr ibrahim at the reception with no problem for any thing I asked , and the amazing talking every day with mr ashraf restaurant and beverage manager and his team.

Amazing Stay at Jaz Star – Highly Recommended! Our experience at Jaz Star was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and exceptional service, especially from Mr. Ibrahim at the reception, who made our check-in and whole stay smooth and enjoyable. The food was simply delicious, offering a wide variety of flavors that satisfied all our cravings. Dinner was the best we’ve ever had! The hotel’s gardens are breathtaking, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a peaceful walk. The beach is stunning, with crystal-clear water and soft sand, making it an ideal spot to relax. The game area was super fun, offering great entertainment for all ages. The calm and romantic atmosphere makes it a perfect destination for honeymooners looking for a peaceful getaway. Thank you, Jaz Star, for an unforgettable stay! We highly recommend it to everyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing vacation.

We were looking for a quiet yet lively hotel, and this one hit the mark. The daytime activities and nighttime music were just right. We loved it! The food was excellent, with a great variety of flavors. The Italian à la carte restaurant was a solid 10. The staff was attentive, taking care of even the small details. The hotel has one of the best beach spots in Makadi Bay, and we enjoyed walking along the shore in different directions. There are three small reef spots, perfect for beginners like me. Plus, you don’t have to walk far to find deeper water, unlike some other beaches in the area.

When we were looking for hotels in Hurghada, we were overwhelmed by the amount of options that seemed all good. We ended up going for Jaz Makadi Star & Spa as it was the only one that didn't have any concerning 1 star review on tripadvisor.  And we weren't wrong!! The hotel was increible! It was super clean, everything was in excellent conditions, and the employees were AMAZING. Mr. Mina, the assistant manager, received us with open arms. He was very attentive and in various opportunities during our stay he checked on us, to make sure it was all ok. All the staff were nice, helpful,  and, for the first time in Egypt, we didn't feel pushed at all to leave tips, which made the whole experience much more relaxing (we didn't have to worry on bringing cash to the pool, etc.). The reception had a box to leave tips for the different areas in the hotel, so we simply left our tips there on our last day. Food was also delicious.  In the main restaurant,  which was buffet, there was also always a  option of food cooked on the moment. The pool bar had a small menu a la carte for lunch, and the hotel/complex have various a la carte menu that you can go to once. The ones we tried were delicious! The cocktails were also great, and the guys at the pool bar were always happy to do new ones. The beach was 5 minutes walk from the hotel, and it had some reefs for snorkeling (of course, it was allowed to touch or swim over them, but we still manage to see a lot of fish). Finally, as it was our honeymoon, the hotel gave us various presents and surprises, as the decoration of the room that always made us smile. Thank you so much for everything! Pilar & Matteo
